Proposal to include DUI in Central Court
Lo sentimos, pero la traducción al español de esta página no está disponible.

The Northampton County Court of Common Pleas is striving to make the temporary expansion of its preexisting Central Court to include all criminal cases involving a DUI, as adopted in Administrative Order 2024-5, permanent to ensure we continue to provide an efficient criminal justice system for all participants, litigants, and the citizens of Northampton County, while safeguarding due process. Accordingly, the Court will be submitting a Petition to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court in September pursuant to Pennsylvania Rule of Criminal Procedure 131.

In accordance with Pa.R.Crim.P. 131(b)(1)(b), the Court is providing notice of these proposed changes and inviting members of the public to provide written comments about the proposal. All comments may be submitted via email at courtadministration@norcopa.gov or hand-delivered to Court Administration.
