Pennsylvania Commission on Sentencing: 8th Edition Guidelines Seminar

The Northampton County Court of Common Pleas is hosting a seminar that includes a comprehensive explanation of the sentencing guidelines and focus extensively on the 8th Edition of Sentencing and Resentencing Guidelines. Specific topics will include sentencing levels, offense gravity scores (OGS), prior record scores (PRS), prior offense groups (POG), and recommendations. This seminar will include example cases and discussion of SGS Web to assist in developing a deeper understanding of the framework of the sentencing guidelines, as well as the practical application of its policies. This seminar is approved for Continuing Judicial Education (CJE) and Continuing Legal Education (CLE) credits.
